Finding joy is up to you – and it can be so overwhelming.
I listened to a wise, 90 year-young woman speak last month. Her idea of creating joy is to DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY.
Keep track of all that you do in a week on paper – nothing fancy, a simple notation will do.
At the end of your week (you pick the day), cross out all of the tasks that you did NOT like nor enjoy doing.
Underline all of the tasks that you liked and enjoyed doing.
For the new week, add more of what you enjoyed into your week.
At the end of that week, repeat the above exercise.
Work toward living your life your way, with joy.
Live in Zen.
