I’m in a spa mood.
This coming weekend I’m using a gift certificate and spending the
day at Glen Ivy Day Spa.
I’ll soak, swim, bathe, sauna, steam, read, nibble on tasty
treats, read, and luxuriate.
And to prepare to my special day, I’m doing a homemade body scrub
to gently exfoliate my winter skin and welcome some soft and smooth summer
It’s easy, cheap, and best of all, non-toxic.
Here’s the recipe:
1/2 cup organic sugar
1/2 cup organic sweet Almond oil
4 teaspoons organic lemon juice
4 Tablespoons organic honey
4 drops Lemon Essential Oil
Mix the sugar and almond oil. Add the other ingredients and
mix well. Apply the mixture to your skin in a circular motion, using mild
pressure, for 30-60. Wipe clean, and then rinse with warm water.
